These units use internal Hard Drives so you never have to change tapes anymore. and because you are storing your Video in a digital format, you have extremely clear playback video. Additional information about Network DVR's
The 16 channel DVR will record up to 16 cameras.
You can view these cameras over the internet or through a telephone connection. The system comes with a software which is loaded on a remote computer which will allow the viewing of the cameras, as well as, previously recorder video. The software also will allow the control of two Pan/Tilt/zoom cameras which are controllable through the internet. This is a stand alone DVR and does not require a computer on the site to operate. Since this unit is not a PC based DVR it X Zoom is much more reliable and does not suffer from windows based conflicts and crashes. it comes complete with an 120 GB hard drive. You can add additional internal 120 HD.
